Getting Selhurst ready for the new season - volunteers needed!
posted by Chris Waters on Tuesday 06th of July 2010 01:30:50 PM
Palace fans have volunteered to help clean up Selhurst Park and improve its appearance in preparation for the first friendly of the seaon against Chelsea on Saturday 17th July.
The cost of such a cleanup has been estimated to be over £17,000, and the groundstaff at Palace have appreciated all the efforts made so far but more volunteers are needed for the final push.
If you have any spare time during the week or on Saturday then the ground is open from 9.30am in the morning to 4.30pm (4pm Sat) and any help would be most gratefully received.
The main aim at the moment is to clean all of the seats in the ground so please bring a bucket, clothes / sponges and report to reception at the Main Stand where you will need to sign a disclaimer before you can start (to say if you hurt yourself the club is not responsible!) . Bring cold drinks and a smile - many hands make light work!
If you are interested in helping please email cpstrust@hotmail.com and we will pass your details on to the fans organising this work or click on the link below to put your name down:
