Trust statement 02/03/10

posted by Chris Waters on Tuesday 02nd of March 2010 05:49:56 PM

The Trust is delighted to welcome  Paul Hart as manager of Crystal Palace and wish him every success in his new role. It is particularly pleasing to welcome back Dougie Freedman, a strong supporter and member of the Trust, and John Pemberton back to Selhurst Park.

While it is clear how busy the administrator must be at this time, the Trust is becoming increasingly frustrated in its attempts to contact Brendan Guilfoyle over the past couple of weeks.

The Trust would like to meet with the administrator as soon as possible to clarify a number of issues including:

- An update on the progress of the sale of the club

- Clarification on whether the lease premium due in April to PWC has been waived or not

- Whether the transfer money generated from the sale of Victor Moses and held by the Football League has been released to the club

- An update on the issues concerning Selhurst Park and the freehold

A clear channel of communication between the administrator and the fans is crucial at this time. Confusing and contradictory statements surrounding Neil Warnock’s departure do not help achieve this. It is hoped that the administrator will clarify this and many other issues concerning supporters as soon as possible.
